It takes awhile, but Jax and Skye are finally able to successfully make the waffles. Pouring two glasses of juice, Jax walks over to the table to join Skye. The bright sunshine streams through the small kitchen, causing him to squint. Skye grins as she watches him. Setting down the juice and waffles, Jax takes a seat across the table from Skye. Her hair glistening in the sunlight, Skye reaches over and takes a plate. As they eat, the two make small talk, discussing somewhat trivial things such as favorite colors and books. After breakfast is finished, Jax stands up and walks back into the living room, Skye trailing behind. Jax sits on the sofa, while Skye walks over to the window, peering down at the city below. Sighing with content, she walks over to join Jax. Curling up her knees, she sits on the sofa facing him.

"You know," she says. "We really SHOULD get some work done for ELQ." He considers, nodding his head in agreement. Eyes sparkling, he reaches over to kiss her.

"But this is more fun," he argues playfully. She giggles, nodding her agreement.

"Believe me, Id rather do this too," she says.

"Then its settled," he says lightly, kissing her again. She smirks.

"Hey, its your business," she says. "And your money." He looks at her, his face becoming serious.

"Honestly Skye, youre all I need. As long as I have you, I dont NEED money." Skye was not expecting this and her eyes well up with tears. Nodding her agreement, she moves closer to him, enveloping him in her arms, the tears sliding slowly down her cheeks. He wraps his arms around her, loving that she is in his arms. He just holds her, not saying a word, watching her tears slowly drip onto both the sofa and himself. Skyes tears slowly fade and she lifts her head to smile lovingly at Jax. Cupping her chin lightly in his palm, Jax brings Skye closer and kisses her sweetly. For the time being, ELQ is forgotten as Jax and Skye simply focus on each other. The love flowing through the air around them, Jax gathers Skye more fully into his arms, holding her tight, never wanting to let go. She winds her arms around his shoulders, feeling almost delirious with happiness. Pulling back slightly, she stares up into his eyes.

"I love you so much," she says, gently tracing his jawline with her finger.

"I love you too, Skye, so much I cant even describe it," he replies, staring into her eyes. This time Skye kisses HIM, gently at first, then with all the love in the world. As the ELQ paperwork remains untouched on the coffee table, Jax and Skye become lost in their own world
