Meanwhile, AJ returns to the Quartermaine mansion, annoyed beyond belief. Slamming the door shut behind him, he stalks into the house to the surprised stares of Alan and Monica.
"What are you doing up so early?" Monica asks curiously.
"Nothing," AJ mumbles, throwing his jacket on a chair. "Unlike some people." Alan and Monica stare at AJ.
"What are you TALKING about?" Monica asks him. AJ whirls around to face Alan.
"Do you know where Skye is?" he asks. Alan looks at him.
"No, but Im guessing YOU do," he says cautiously. AJ just glowers for a minute before answering.
"Shes with Jax. At his hotel room," he says, pausing briefly. Alans eyes narrow.
"And why were YOU in Jaxs hotel room?" he asks. When AJ doesnt answer, Alan nods knowingly. "You went to see if Skye was there, didnt you?" he asks. AJ just glares at him and leaves. Alan sighs, worried about Skye. Monica walks over to him, resting her hand on his shoulder.
"Dont worry about her," she says. "For some reason, unbeknownst to me, Jax actually seems to care for Skye." Giving Monica a quick hug, Alan does his best to push Skye from his mind.
"I hope so," he says. "I know she can take care of herself, but still..." he says, his voice trailing off. Monica gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and squeezes his hand supportively.
"Itll work out," she says. "Now come on, well be late for work." He nods, taking her hand and walking outside to the car. He hoped she was right.
